I completed about half of the "23 things on a stick" and now I am doing "more things". I'm having a hard time understanding the practicality of using so many different programs on the web, especially when they all point to the same end (sharing information). It seams to me that programs like Facebook and Myspace already fulfill most of the usefulness of these programs and do it all in one place. Maybe I'm just missing something but dealing with the constant passwords and web addresses feels extremely tedious. I definitely prefer to keep time spent accessing to a minimum and my communication time optimized.
I do see the usefulness of open information sharing as opposed to allowing only friended users access to your information. On the other hand I'm skeptical that many people would find the ramblings of total strangers to be very interesting.
