After looking through the book applications available for Facebook I wanted to make a suggestion. Maybe this feature is already available and I just don't know about it, but I think a place to publish your own personal writing would be a fun application to add. I like to write short stories and narrative poems, It would be fun to put them up on Facebook and get peoples feedback.
Right now I'm planning on including a blog in the website I'm building to allow for these types of critiques. Though I'm not sure how often my site will be frequented, which is why something on Facebook seems more practical.
